The Geolandar GO12 A/T-S gives impressive all terrain capability without generating the tyre noise and harshness of most all terrain tyres. Modern 4x4's are refined & luxurious. Fit the right all terrain tyre and they are also very capable of off road. It's important to stay in the tyre tracks, and not stray into the mounds of loose stuff, when travelling fast on gravel. The Geolandar has good on-centre feel and straignt line stability to help the driver feel more confident and comfortable in these condtions. The tread compound on the Geolandar A/T-S is remarkably cut and chip resistant. Especially when compared to some specialist off-road tyre brands. Snow on snow grips better than rubber on snow. The Geolandars works well on snow because the tread picks up a little snow. Silent Tyre Technology from the passenger range makes the A/T-S a pleasant ride.

Truly a wolf in sheep’s clothing! The brand new General Grabber AT All-TERRAIN tyre for superb on and off road performance. The latest Complex and technical design delivers astonishing off-road performance with outstanding on-road safety and noise reduction. On test Landrover Owner Magazine wrote ‘Off-Road performance is on a par with the acclaimed AT2, but On-Road is significantly better’. Landrover Monthly wrote of their test ‘ The Genral Grabber’s self-cleaning properties were very apparent during our testing as the grooves remained clear of debris under all manner on conditions. The astonishing grip that these tyres exert was demonstrated when we stopped a Discovery 4, with four people on board on a 32 degree incline on wet rock and the vehicle just sat there without slipping…. I have to say it was all very impressive’.
Launched in 2010 we’ve had great customer feedback at 4x4tyres.com from user’s impressed by the new pattern Grabber AT used in the harsh winter & snow of 2010 and 2011 despite it looking less aggressive than the old pattern these performed better than expected in snow and winter conditions.
